Diane Dean-Johnson has been an educator for over 37 years. She has training and experience with neurodiverse and neurotypical students and received her Masters degree in Education, specializing in English as another language.
Because she believes in life-long learning, she continues to take specialized piano lessons to help her teach the foundations of sound so that she can better serve her students.
She has played the piano since she was a young child. Diane has also played the guitar, harp, clarinet, saxophone, oboe and organ. She has sung with the Portland Singing Christmas Tree and other choirs and currently sings with the Sweet Adelines.
Diane is a current member of OMTA (Oregon Music Teachers Association) and MTNA (Music Teachers National Association.)
